lisaR documentation

If you are new to lisaR, start with the four steps below. For your own analysis, you need a complete differential-expression table; lisaR calculates enrichment from that table, not differential expression from sequencing reads.

Get started

  1. Install lisaR in R or RStudio.
  2. Run Riaz ON to make your first report from prepared public data.
  3. Use your own DE by replacing the input table and stating the direction of your comparison.
  4. Read your report and inspect the gene sets behind a category.

You can follow this route without writing YAML or choosing advanced options. The Riaz example downloads its data and gene-set resource. If you need an offline demonstration instead, use the synthetic example.

Go further

Advanced guides cover statistical analysis, multiple analyses, custom resources and additional report products. You do not need them to complete the first run.
